The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) is co-hosting an event with the University of East Anglia Marketing Club. The event will focus on brand development and how we can learn from the evolution of Chinese brands. Mackman is proud to be sponsoring this informative event.

Dr Jonathan Wilson will be hosting this event. As a Senior Lecturer in Marketing and Business Research at the University of East Anglia, he is an expert in the field. Jonathan will talk about the evolution of Chinese brands and go on to discuss what we can learn from their development processes.

The talk will cover the various approaches that Chinese brands have adopted when going global which will draw on a range of case studies. Jonathan’s PhD, which included research into companies such as BP and Kingfisher, examined UK Foreign Direct Investment in China. He started his career with The Independent as a Marketing Manager. Since then he has worked in Higher Education where he has taught for over 20 years.

The event will start at 6.30pm, with registration and networking from 6.00pm, and will finish at 9.00pm.
