The Chartered Institute of Marketing to host summer conference at Anglia Ruskin University
In this current economic climate more than ever businesses and marketers are being asked to justify their marketing spend and demonstrate its effectiveness.
Now, with the help of the East of England Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), regional professionals can gain the knowledge to do so by attending the ‘ROMI’ Summer Marketing Conference at the Chelmsford Campus of Anglia Ruskin University on 14 June 2012.
The day, which begins at 10:00 and runs until 16:00, focuses on a whole range of performance marketing measures designed to help businesses to find a Return On Marketing Investment (ROMI). It covers topics including market research, advertising effectiveness, social marketing and even tips to keep the Chief Finance Officer happy. In the afternoon there’s also the added bonus of no less than a choice of four workshops covering a range of the latest digital marketing metrics.
Building on the success of last year’s Summer conference, this popular event brings together a varied and knowledgeable line up of prominent speakers including academic and magician Professor Todd Landman, Tim Arnold & Guy Tomlinson authors of the Marketing Director’s Handbook, Sinead Jefferies - Opinion Leader, Zoe Stanton – Uscreates and Tosin Osho from BrandScience.
The digital workshops in the afternoon will see Ian Miller from Crafted Media, Oli Watts from Fresh Networks, Darren Bond from Coast Digital and Rechenda Smith from little green plane, covering the hot topics of Google analytics, social media monitoring, paid search analytics and the measurement of email marketing.
This full day conference is designed to both impart knowledge and arm delegates with the tools to enable them to measure their marketing effectively and justify it with a clear ROMI.
