Mackman’s Technical & Operations Director James was pleased to be invited to the Annual Dinner of our client, Adventure Offshore, held at the Royal Harwich Yacht Club in Woolverstone, near Ipswich. The evening was attended by trustees, volunteers and young sea staff, representatives of the Scout Association (of which Adventures Offshore is a member) as well as other supporters of the charity. During the evening James was presented with a certificate of thanks by Judy Harrison (Operations Manager of Adventures Offshore) in recognition of the work we are undertaking for them as our chosen charity of the year.
Adventures Offshore is a sail training charity who take young people and vulnerable adults offshore sailing to give them a residential opportunity to work as a team in an adventurous and challenging environment. Previously known as Scouts Offshore, the organisation recognised the need for marketing to support renewed growth and to achieve the strategic aims of the business plan developed by the new board of trustees.
James said, “We’re all really excited to be working with Adventures Offshore and we were delighted to be invited to their Annual Dinner and be recognised in this way. It was great to meet some of their trustees and volunteers and learn, first hand, about their experiences within the organisation.”.
