The Mackman Group supported the Rotary Club of Sudbury Talbot Summer Art Exhibition and Sale, which took place in St Peter’s Church in the heart of Sudbury this month. The show highlighted 200+ paintings and some sculptures, all by local artists.
Organisers report £1,984 pounds worth of paintings sold which, together with the sponsorship, raised £800 to support Rotary Club work nationally and internationally. The Rotary Club is the world’s largest charity with over 1.2million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide.
Exhibition organiser, Pennie Oglesby, expressed her thanks for Mackman's sponsorship: 'We are very grateful for the generosity of companies such as yourselves that help us to make a small difference in the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves.' Mackman was proud to support the event, the artists involved and the Rotary Club’s greater humanitarian goals. Learn more about the Rotary Club.
