Hello! I’m Chloe and I am Group Operations Manager at Mackman. As Group Operations Manager, I regularly check in with the Studio team to ensure they are happy with all work set, and make sure they have all they need to complete these tasks. I am involved with both internal and external client meetings and being client facing, touch points with the client are essential to ensure we are meeting their expectations.
It is also my responsibility to ensure the Studio and Digital team have time protected for active and prospective client projects. For this reason, I schedule these jobs into staff calendars to ensure that we remain on top of jobs and deliver them on time. Further details on my day-to-day role at Mackman are in the video below.
After studying Graphic Design at University of Suffolk, I landed my first role as a Junior Designer at a publication company producing B2C and B2B magazines. My second role is where I got my first taste of marketing and my love for the industry grew from there. Working for a branding and marketing agency means no two days are the same, every day brings new challenges and fresh ideas which is what I love about my job.
The team at Mackman are brilliant, everyone is so lovely and always very happy to help. I have developed so much in my time at Mackman, being introduced to new software, techniques and processes that are much more effective in the completion of projects.
In my free time I like to keep busy, whether that be finding a new project to begin around the house or in the garden. I love days out with family and friends, especially when the weather is warm and we can head to the beach for a picnic. During lockdown I really found a love for packing up breakfast or lunch and heading to local areas for a stroll. It's made me realise just how lucky we are in Sudbury to have the hotspots around us that we do. Baking is also a love of mine, Jaffa Cake brownies being particular favourite, as well as a selection of cheesecakes.
