Head of Marketing
I am responsible for all marketing activity for the Mackman brands as well as for our clients.

As the Head of Marketing at Mackman, I am responsible for all marketing activity for the Mackman brands as well as for our clients. I also work closely with clients on their strategic development and will often run workshops with key stakeholders throughout their project to ensure our work is aligned closely with the company’s corporate objectives.

With over 15 years' experience in Marketing, I am a qualified Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a member of the East of England CIM Regional Board. My experience is predominantly within the Professional Services industry and I spent 8 years of my career as Marketing Manager for a Top 100 law firm.

A qualified trainer, I also really enjoy running training sessions for clients on a variety of topics including Social Media, Marketing Planning and SEO.

What does your typical day look like at Mackman?

My role at Mackman is very varied so there is no such thing as a typical day! I could be running a workshop session at a client site, working with the content and comms team on content creation or liaising with the studio, digital or research teams on a shared project. The variety of projects and working on marketing campaigns for both our brand and clients is one of the things that makes the job so enjoyable, you never know what tomorrow will bring.

What is your favourite part about working for Mackman?

After many years working as an in-house marketer, it is great to work at an agency amongst so many talented marketers. I love a good brainstorm and it is fantastic to being able to do so with the team at Mackman.

What has been an inspirational motto or quote for you in your career?

“I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Maya Angelou

For me, this quote really resonates to not only how you work with others throughout your career but it also really relevant to how you should deliver your marketing – authentically tailored to your customers and how you make them feel.

What sort of activities do you enjoy in your free time?

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and am always kept busy by my two children. We can often be found at the beach, walking our dog Rosa, enjoying time with friends or baking up a storm in the kitchen!
