This year's Business East exhibition, at Colchester's Weston Homes Community Stadium, has been described as a "resounding success".
More than 50 companies set up exhibition stands at the day-long event, in a bid to boost the region's economy in 2013.
The sell-out Business2Business show provided the perfect opportunity for entrepreneurs, SMEs and large companies to meet, discuss ideas, develop relationships and boost their business profile.
Polly-Louise Handy, who helped to organise the event for Business East, said: "It was a great day and a resounding success for those that attended.
"The goal was to get as many businesses together in one place so they could strike deals, share ideas and grow networks – and this was undoubtedly achieved."
As a partner to the event Mackman led a strategic marketing seminar on the subject of 'Plan, Do, Review: The keys to unlocking successful marketing.'
Commenting on the day Paul Mackman said: "This is a vital time for businesses communicate with each other and we were delighted to be part of an event that helped to achieve this."
