The world's wines come to Sudbury beer festival
The Sudbury Institute Club has held annual beer festivals in the town for over a decade. Now in it's eleventh year, a new tipple has made it's way onto the bill. In addition to a variety of quality ales, visitors to the festival will now also be able to enjoy a selection of wines from around the world.
Sponsored by the Mackman Group, the Sudbury Institute Club's Beer & Wine Festival will be taking place from May 10 to 12 in the Club's historic building on Station Road. As well as 25 different ales, five ciders and wine, there will also be live music from The Weeds on Friday, and Johnny One Eye on the Saturday.
Established as a firm favourite on the CAMRA beer festival circuit, the event repeatedly draws beer lovers from across the country. The Wine Bar is a new addition to the festival, and has its own dedicated section for those who'd prefer grapes to hops.
The festival is open to members and non-members, with entry costing £3 for the whole weekend. For more information, call the Sudbury Institute Club on 01787 379057.
