Mackman started the New Year by welcoming one extra permanent staff member on board. Luke Roberts joins us as Studio Technician, playing a vital role supporting our web services and maintaining and improving our internal network systems. This means improved support for customers and enhanced response times. Luke will also be working with our studio staff on software development.
‘There’s a relaxed but focussed atmosphere here,’ Luke comments. ‘It’s really different to my previous workplace and it’s a good step in the right direction for me. I’m really pleased.’
Having another technical whizz-kid in the studio is good news for everyone, and offers Luke an accelerated route to a senior role within the company. ‘Luke really stood out amongst the candidates,’ Paul explains. ‘Not only his enthusiasm for the role, which is really important, but his aptitude set him apart. We’re delighted to have found someone so suited.’
