The promotions of four members of staff, help continue a 30% growth in sales for the first quarter of 2016 for Mackman.

The promotions see two of Mackman’s most experienced staff members appointed to the board of Directors. With Bruce Burgoyne becoming Creative Director, and James Royce becoming Technical Director at the beginning of the New Year. Also filling new roles are Natasha Clarke, who became Brand and Communications Manager, and Jimmy Carr, who has taken on the role of Marketing Coordinator.

Paul Mackman, Managing Director says, “Appointing Bruce and James to the board is a recognition of their continued loyalty and commitment to the agency over a number of years.”

“Bruce’s creative insight is a crucial part of our brand building and campaign solutions. While James’ wealth of technical expertise and experience has proven to be invaluable for our website and digital clients.”

These appointments will see them both play an active role in overseeing the delivery of the agency’s solutions for clients. As well as being key decision makers in the everyday running of the business.

“With already a 30% growth in sales for the first quarter of 2016, we have been experiencing a surge in demand for our branding, campaign and website solutions” explained Paul. “Therefore it’s been crucial for us to develop our team in order to continue to listen to customer needs and further improve our efficiency”.

Last year also saw the promotion of Natasha Clarke to her new role as Brand and Communications Manager. “Many of the marketing solutions we provide for our clients are about more than just a logo design, an advertising campaign or website re-fresh. They’re about building their brand. This promotion was a natural evolution of my role here at Mackman. As a result of the quality branding work we’ve continued to execute. It’s an exciting time to be part of the agency”, said Natasha.

Her experience and insight were further recognised in November 2015. Both Natasha and Bruce were asked to speak at the CIM’s Autumn Conference about branding. This year has also seen Natasha named as one of iQ business magazines “Top 30 under 30”.

In line with our positive growth, Mackman has continued to strengthen its planning and communications capabilities. Appointing Jimmy Carr to the position of Marketing Co-ordinator.

“The most important part of this role is enabling our agency to better schedule work effectively. Delivering projects on time and on budget,” explained Jimmy. “It also helps us better communicate with our clients. Providing them with a sound overview of a project from its very beginning through to completion.”

Paul summarised, “These internal developments recognise the increase in demand for our services this year. Demonstrating the capabilities of our agency. ‘Together we grow’ has always defined the Mackman brand. It continues to relate to the relationships we strive to build with our clients, but also the development of our staff. We anticipate that this will be our strongest trading year yet.”
