Two valued members of the Mackman team will be presenting at the CIM B2B Masterclass on Thursday 7th November. The masterclass is part of the CIM’s busy calendar of events designed to drive long term organisational performance, such as their recent masterclasses on successful content marketing and charity marketing. Taking place at Colchester United Football Club, the event runs from 10am until 4pm, including time for a buffet lunch and refreshments.
The masterclass is aimed at anyone from those new to the world of B2B marketing to seasoned professionals hoping to refresh their existing knowledge. The day is full of workshop sessions designed to inform delegates how best to understand, engage and grow their B2B customer base. Topics include B2B strategy, buyer personas, lead generation and LinkedIn, all delivered by experts from Milton Keynes, Peterborough and Norwich. By the end of the five-hour day, B2B marketers will have been presented with the skills and knowledge required to build and maintain a successful marketing strategy for a B2B audience.
The workshop will be run by Bruce Burgoyne, our Creative Director, and Paul Lymer, Head of Digital. ‘Showcasing your expertise: Delivering B2B website excellence’ will focus on using websites as a tool to enhance businesses’ existing B2B offering and promote growth. Bruce will begin the presentation by highlighting the importance of customer journeys in identifying key customer interactions. These can be used to improve customer experience and drive organisational change. Paul will then discuss how to preserve digital profiles, and explain why every website should have robust pre-flight checks to ensure its optimum functionality in generating leads and representing brands online. Bruce will conclude the presentation by addressing how to drive conversions, catching the attention of visitors to a website and turning them into qualified leads.
