Mackman Group was proud to sponsored Sudbury’s popular Christmas Tree Festival held in St Peter’s church this year. Over eighty trees were decorated and on display including one from the Mackman team. As one of the main event sponsors the Mackman Group provided all marketing materials in support of the event.
Covered in delicate feathers and hand-made butterflies, the glittering Mackman tree looked absolutely stunning. Everyone here played their part under the expert artistic direction of Amanda Ansell, who conceived the theme and coordinated the design, decoration making and trimming of the tree.
The festival is a wonderful affirmation of Sudbury’s community spirit, with dozens of businesses, charities, schools and other organisations taking part. St Peter’s church has been transformed into an enchanting, glittering forest – capturing the imaginations of hundreds of visitors who come from miles around to experience the magical atmosphere. Organised by the Rotary Clubs of Sudbury and Sudbury Talbot, the event is manned by volunteers from the community and all proceeds go to local charities. Mackman clients with trees at the event include the Bridge Project and Compassion. We’re so proud to be part of the vibrant local community which the festival so evocatively represents.
The Sudbury Christmas Tree Festival takes place from December 8th to 12th; 10am to 7pm on Wednesday to Saturday and 10am to 6pm on Sunday and there is a £1 entrance fee.
