Hi! I’m Ben, a creative based in Suffolk. My passions and hobbies include videography, television, football and running. I ran the London Marathon back in 2017 and I also played football for local team Long Melford from age 5-15. After enjoying an introduction to Media at GCSE level, I went on to study Creative Media Production at West Suffolk College. I was able to work on a variety of briefs including short films, music videos and advertisements.

This then led me to studying TV Production at Ravensbourne University in London. I was able to get a deeper understanding of the Media Marketing industry and had work placements with BT Sport & ITV Sport. I have background experience in creating promotional videos for a variety of business sectors, event & product photography and aspects of digital design, branding and web design. Content creation is what interests me most about marketing.

Having a strong video-based background, the pace of the marketing world, alongside the potential of media platforms and new technologies, makes the industry extremely exciting. Brand image and consistency is all around us and is a vital part of any business's success. Turning a visual concept into a digital product is very rewarding and enjoyable.

What is your favourite part about working for Mackman?

In my short time here so far I have really enjoyed the variety of projects. Working with various business sectors allows me to get creative with different content formats and branding styles. I am excited to learn and get involved with as much as I can throughout my time at Mackman.

What sort of activities do you enjoy in your free time?

I have a very sporty background so I watch a lot of football and do a lot of running too. I enjoy film & television as well as gaming and socialising with friends. I also enjoy taking the camera out for photography or videography experimentation.
