Happy Monkey was born in 2009 when two friends with over 40 years’ experience of running UK food companies between them decided that they wanted to go into business together. From the beginning, their aim was to produce smoothies for children with 100% fruit that counted as 1 of your 5 a day while also benefitting the environment. Their first two flavours were orange & mango and strawberry & banana, and they have since expanded into a range of delicious milkshakes.
Happy Monkey approached Mackman to design the packaging for their smoothies. It needed to communicate their great taste and environmental credentials, while being something that kids would love in their lunch boxes.
