We are delighted that our client, the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB), has won the prestigious ‘Publication of the Year’ award at the Trade Association Forum (TAF) Best Practice awards 2019.
The NACFB is the UK’s largest independent and not-for-profit trade body for commercial finance intermediaries. It was recognised for its in-house membership magazine, Commercial Broker.
Mackman overhauled the design of the monthly magazine in 2018 following a competitive pitch. At that early point in the process, Graham Toy, CEO of the NACFB, commented on Mackman’s new look for the magazine. He said it was:
…in line with their objective to supply top-rate content to the commercial finance sector.

Each new monthly issue is designed and artworked by our studio at Mackman. On approval of our print ready files, our production team then manages the production and fulfillment process on behalf of the NACFB and its members.
The NACFB saw off competition from over 300 UK trade bodies to take home the award. In addition, the Association took home the award for ‘Event of the Year’ for its flagship Commercial Finance Expo event and was also highly commended in the ‘Good Governance’ category.
The NACFB’s Kieran Jones, who edits each issue, spoke of how integral Mackman have been to ensuring each issue reaches their members. He added:
