I’m a Graphic Designer with a background in typesetting and layout design for print and editorial. My work aims to explore the narrative graphic design can offer, searching for the story behind a project to drive my creative output. My design style is modern and often contemporary, with an appreciation for colour, pattern and illustration. Throughout my time with Mackman I have developed my practice in order to apply my skills to brand and identity design as well.
We as designers have a social, ethical and environmental responsibility, and as fashion expert Imran Amed once said “good design is sustainable design”. Design is made to last, to withstand the rapidly changing world, and this should be applied in all aspects of design. Whether that be the paper stock we choose, the amount of printed material we produce, or any simple steps we can make around the office to reduce waste.
My passion for design and art consumes my free time too. I love sketching and watercolour, and take inspiration from the amazing countryside we have in East Anglia. I find it a great way to unwind after a long walk with a coffee.
